Disclaimer
Buying a car is a big decision. This page explains which details are estimates or come from other sources, what a vehicle lookup can confirm, and what to check before you commit.
Use our website and tools for an initial check. Confirm the vehicle, price, and any customs duty with the original seller, auction, or authorities before buying or paying. If a tool finds no matching record, it means no data was found—not that the vehicle is clear or the duty is zero.
1. General information—not a contract or professional advice
This website provides general information about Ziarkash Motor Logistics, vehicles, sourcing, logistics, and available tools. Information can change or become outdated. Viewing a listing, estimate, or lookup result does not by itself create a purchase, sale, shipping, brokerage, or other binding agreement. A transaction is governed by the final written quote, order, authorization, and applicable Terms & Conditions.
Nothing on this website is legal, tax, customs, investment, insurance, or financial advice. Ask a qualified professional or the relevant authority where you need advice for your circumstances.
2. Vehicle listings, ownership, and verification
Listing details, photographs, mileage, specifications, damage notes, and availability may come from sellers, auction houses, manufacturers, customers, or data providers. They may be incomplete, delayed, or changed. Unless a listing or report explicitly identifies a specific detail as independently checked by Ziarkash Motor Logistics, treat that detail as unverified. An inspection, if arranged, covers only the checks stated in its report and the vehicle’s condition at the time of inspection; it is not a guarantee of future condition.
USA auction candidates shown to members are customers’ vehicles or customer-selected auction lots; they are not represented as vehicles owned by Ziarkash Motor Logistics. Lots may be withdrawn, changed, sold, or become unavailable. Bids and purchases are subject to the auction house’s rules and a separate written authorization or agreement.
Before committing, compare the VIN on the vehicle with its documents. Confirm title/ownership, mileage, accident and damage history, specifications, import eligibility, and any inspection findings with original records or an independent inspector.
3. Written quotes and additional costs
Prices or landed-cost figures shown on the website and informal estimates are for guidance only. A written quote from Ziarkash Motor Logistics applies to the specific vehicle or service named and should state the currency, what is included or excluded, and how long the quote is valid. Ask us for an itemised breakdown and confirm it is still current before paying.
Unless a written quote specifically includes them, additional costs may include auction or buyer fees, transport and shipping, port and handling charges, customs duties and taxes, storage or demurrage, inspections, repairs, registration, and bank or currency-conversion fees. Final charges can change if the vehicle details, official assessment, exchange rate, or third-party costs change. The written quote or order confirmation governs the agreed service and price.
4. Customs-duty records and AFN/USD values
When the Tools page publishes monthly customs-duty records, each result will show the dataset month and last-updated date. If a USD equivalent is displayed, the tool will also show the exchange rate and effective date used. Records may not cover every make, model, year, engine, fuel type, vehicle value, or customs classification. Duty rules and final assessments can change and may depend on vehicle details, declared/CIF value, exchange rate, exemptions, and the authority’s decision.
If an exact matching record is absent, the search returns “No data available.” That means no matching record was found in the published dataset; it does not mean the duty is zero or that no duty is payable. This is a record search, not an official assessment or guaranteed duty quote.
AFN and USD figures are informational. The USD equivalent is not a live bank, card, or remittance rate. Confirm the applicable tariff and final amount with Afghan Customs or a qualified customs broker before buying or shipping a vehicle.
5. VIN and chassis checks: what they can tell you
Our current 17-character VIN check uses NHTSA vPIC data where available. NHTSA relies on manufacturer submissions, so some vehicles made for markets outside the United States may return partial information or no result. A missing field means the source did not provide that information—not that the vehicle lacks the feature. Read the NHTSA vPIC FAQ.
A VIN or chassis decode is not an inspection or full vehicle-history report. It cannot by itself verify condition, ownership or title, mileage, accident or theft history, roadworthiness, or recall repairs. A manufacturer or country hint is only a clue, not a complete model, trim, or engine decode. Non-17-character chassis numbers may need a market-specific source. Check the VIN against the vehicle and its documents, and confirm important details with the manufacturer, relevant authority, or an independent inspector. No result does not mean the vehicle is “clean.”
6. Recalls and vehicle-history information
Recall results, when available, come from the source identified by the tool and may depend on make, model, year, market, or other supplied fields. A search with no result is not proof that no recall, safety campaign, complaint, theft entry, or service notice exists. Some recall and history databases are market-specific and may not match a vehicle imported from another country.
Check the manufacturer and relevant official authority for the vehicle’s original market and current registration market. A recall notice is not the same as confirming that a particular vehicle has or has not received the repair.
7. Auctions, sale schedules, and timers
Auction houses control their sale schedules, lot descriptions, bids, withdrawals, and final results. Any countdown or timing display on this website is informational and can differ from the auction house’s live schedule. Confirm lot status and sale time with the auction source or our team before taking action. We do not guarantee that a bid will succeed or that a lot will remain available.
8. Third-party data, links, and services
Links to vehicle manufacturers, government services, recall databases, auction houses, inspection providers, or other websites are provided for convenience. Ziarkash Motor Logistics does not control every third-party page or database and does not adopt or warrant its content, availability, privacy practices, or accuracy. A link or search result is not an endorsement or proof that a third party has verified a specific vehicle.
9. Information supplied by users and sellers
Information submitted by a seller, customer, auction provider, or other source is attributed to that source unless we explicitly say we independently verified it. Please provide accurate information and tell us if a detail changes. We may ask for supporting documents or an inspection before relying on material facts for a transaction.
10. Website availability, responsibilities, and contact
We aim to keep the website useful, but pages, tools, and external services may be unavailable or out of date. For any service we agree to provide, the written quote or order and applicable law set our responsibilities. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any liability, consumer right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
